The Argonaut Story
Pulled by the mountain air, Lindsey and Noah Dahlstrom left the city they loved (Seattle) to be wrapped in the shadow and beauty of the Enchantment Mountains. They opened Argonaut Espresso Bar in August of 2014, a small but mighty sidewalk espresso bar & cafe, and began their entrepreneurial dreams!
In the spring of 2018, they opened Schnitzel Boys (later called Argonaut Kitchen) and tried their hand at restaurant ownership. They made delicious craft sandwiches with a cult following. A couple months later, they welcomed their daughter Margot. After two and a half years, a lot of work and a global pandemic they made the bittersweet decision to close their doors and sell the restaurant.
Meanwhile, Argonaut Espresso Bar was bursting at the seams and busier than ever! Every morning the 80 square foot sidewalk cafe would bake fresh buttermilk biscuits for their famous Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich, prepare countless Hipster Avocado Toasts and craft the best espresso in Leavenworth!
Knowing they needed more space for their operations, they decided to expand the coffee shop and opened Argonaut Coffee & Biscuits in August 2021. Now the little stand is lovingly referred to as Argo Bar and focuses solely on espresso and little treats while AC&B houses all the food operations and can handle more espresso drinks.
